Irish Gymnastics has improved greatly in recent years: originally run by volunteers, is now the Irish Association Gymnic today it came under the guidance of professionals. The national coordinator is Ciaran Gallagher and the National Center is located in Dublin. Have been made many improvements to the methods of training. Gallagher said in an interview with International Gymnast magazine that modernization has brought many benefits of sport and also hopes that the proverbial Irish luck plays its part!

"Everyone here hope that the famous Irish luck give us a hand!"
Gymnastics is clearly considered an important and very popular sport in Ireland is one of the few sports that will be subsidized by the government in 2009 to overcome the global financial crisis. Unfortunately for the Irish Association Gymnic, including artistic, rhythmic, trampoline and acrobatics, but there will be a cut in funding for international competition. This concern all sports in Ireland, not just gymnastics.

Northern Ireland has its own federation, which is particularly focused on modernization to make an improvement in the international arena. The most important was gymnast Holly Murdock, 14th in the World Cup in 2001. This plus the best result of the United Kingdom so far, not only in Northern Ireland (the result of course then beaten by Tweddle in fourth place in 2005). He also had great success at the Games in Northern Europe, losing only the floor exercise gold. Murdock is then passed to the Bruins at the University of California - Los Angeles, competing in a discontinuous way in 2003 and 2004. In this context, he managed to learn a Yurchenko stretched and brought to the race only two weeks after getting Pac-10 Championship 9625! His best score was 9875 in the beam. He also received All-American recognition for both years.
His favorite tool is the beam. He thought of studying to be a veterinarian after school and have a lot of animals such as dogs, cats, rabbits, goats and horses at home!

There seems to be a somewhat 'confused (at least to an outside observer as the already confused myself) for the races in Ireland and Northern Ireland. A Sometimes the Irish gymnasts competed for the United Kingdom, but sometimes competing separately as Irish team (I think!). Northern Ireland has sent its athletes to the Commonwealth Games but I'm not sure that always emulate separate (perhaps some readers can enlighten me?).
In Melbourne in 2006, the gymnast in Northern Ireland Katie Slader he finished 12th in the academic year. He also won the AA Championships in Northern Europe in 2005. Teams from Northern Ireland and Ireland generally are placed very close in this race in 2007, the Northern Ireland came sixth against seventh Irish, then the opposite happened the following year.

Affittano una sala per gli allenamenti, il che significa that the equipment must be removed after each workout! It is chaired by a group of parent volunteers and has won several awards for his contribution to the community.

Eugenia Popa, Romanian athlete of the eighties and nineties and won two medals with a team of Romania, the company jump training hours in Northern Ireland. Popa was particularly famous for the double back on the ground which took its name and its extension in the beam. After retiring, he coached for three years in Bucharest and then moved to Northern Ireland, where trains of thirteen years. Eugenia loves his job, but told the newspaper that it was difficult to International Gymnast you get used to the relaxed atmosphere of the gym outside of Romania, where children can refuse to do things. He was frustrated when he saw children with a lot of talent not only cultivate their potential because they were distracted by something else.
"Here the kids want to have many friends. They think that to be competitive will lose their friendships. When I was training I were all very competitive, but we can be friends well" Popa

think gymnastics Northern Ireland in need of inspiration and training methods that develop solid work ethic to succeed internationally. It's hard to talk about the concept of allenamento duro ad un bambino che ha passato gli ultimi anni in palestra saltellando e giocando.
(I hope it was not confusing in this presentation of the differences between the two states. I did the best I could to control all information, but I apologize to readers if I'm wrong about something and I understand that there are important differences)
